I am here at the cottage. Wow, where do I begin? It has been a fabulous place to stay. We are having a great time at the resort. The kids love the pool, the beach and the mini-golf. My hubby is excited about fishing tomorrow. This has been one of our best holidays. The cottage is great. When I got to the cottage I was surprised to see the decor. It was all the things I would have chosen to decorate. The paint, the pictures, the bedding, and even the vases and things. You have great taste in furnishings. I appreciate how well you stocked the kitchen. It made it easy to make a meal. Thanks for being so thoughtful with all the good quality items to use. I realize it must be a bit of a risk to leave nice things around the place, we feel honoured to stay. You have made it very "homey".

“Whew – this is awesome” was what I said when I walked in. The bunkbeds are reminiscent of when we were growing up. Two bathrooms…a “luxury” for 10 girls. It felt like home with rest, renewal, warmth and love.
Very nice, it was great for all 10 of us to be together in one cabin. The roof is a little higher now from all the laughter!

The cottage was much more than we expected. There was more than enough room for my fiancé, son, two nephews and myself. The swimming pool and hot tub were greatly enjoyed as well. I find it very thoughtful that everything is considered, from the salt & pepper to the puzzles in the coffee table. We definitely know where we will be vacationing from now on when we come to the island. We came for my Dad’s wedding and we had a much better stay than we could have imagined. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!! We will certainly be back

We had a great time here and will recommend this place to all our friends. We went to Horne lake caves and it was quite a rush for this well used person ( 45+).  I think the younger you are the better it would be. It’s reasonable, only 5 bucks for a helmet and light.  As we entered the pitch black caves my heart went from 70 beats to 100+ in the span of four steps. :) Local Dining includes Tigh na mara with great food and great spa; Herons at Bayside in the Quality Inn has great food and beautiful view. Our local adventures included Englishman river falls- priceless - need to be in ok shape to do the 1 km loop, but the awesome viewpoint is just a short flat walk from parking lot. Little Qualicum falls was priceless - need to be in ok shape to do the 1 km loop, not sure if the upper falls had a parking lot near by but the lower was 59 steps up and down :)

Hi Susie and Nick, we just returned yesterday from having a really lovely stay in your cottage over the weekend. I was with my daughter and her two young children and it was ideal. Your cottage is very comfortable and attractive, and your location was great for the swimming pool and a lovely short walk to the beach.We even found some sand dollars, so just to thank you and we hope to return next year!

This place is fantastic! Better than what it looked like on the website. The pool and hot tub were great. Mini golf was a hit with our party; we went twice!
